FT-BC-2506A是一款高性能RS-232/485转CAN-bus总线通讯协议转换器。转换器支持RS-232/485和CAN-bus之间的互联互通；RS-232/485支持600-230400bps波特率，CAN-BUS支持5kbps-1Mbps的通讯速率;且转换器支持三种数据转换模式：透明转换、透明带标识转换、Modbus协议转换。
进一步扩展了该转换器的应用范围。FT-BC-2506A转换器提供配置工具，用户可以灵活设置FT-BC-2506A转换器的接口参数。工业级高标准设计；CAN通讯接口和系统之间隔离，具备一定的抗干扰和防浪涌能力，广泛应用于工业控制、数据通讯系统。
